Stormcloud is excited to announce the first-ever bottle release from our Lakehouse Ales Project.
The Lakehouse Ales Project is Stormcloud’s sour beer program. In addition to two bottled beers, we’re releasing our first bottled wine!
You may have tried one of our Lakehouse sour ales on tap in the pub, but this is Stormcloud’s first bottled sour release and very first bottled wine release.
These limited release bottles will be available starting Friday, December 4 at our downtown pub.
LAKEHOUSE BEER & WINE BOTTLES:
Day 1 - 100% Commander Saison, foeder soured with our Lakehouse culture. Aged in stainless on Pinot Gris grape pomace then transferred into wine barrels for three months. Dry hopped with 3.3 lbs/bbl Zappa hop. Lightly carbonated in the bottle. 750ml bottle. $20.
Day 8 - 90% Saison du Stormcloud (Saison Noir), 10% The Farthest Shore (Belgian-Style Dark Strong.) Aged in two Left Foot Charley red wine barrels with Yeast Bay Brett Brux and Lochristie. Blended together in stainless with cocoa nibs and vanilla. 750ml bottle. $20.
2019 Pinot Gris - A natural wine skin fermented with grapes from Old Mission Peninsula and aged for twelve months in oak barrels. 750ml bottle. $20.
